Velvia in Oregon

I finally sent the film I shot in Oregon (in March) off to be developed and scanned.

Wow, do I love Velvia 50 at dawn and dusk. I still haven't quite figured it out during full daylight, but in soft light it is really great.

Neither of these shots has any digital trickery. I was using a 1990 Nikon N90s, with a Nikon 50mm 1.4, shooting Velvia 50. I had a neutral density graduated and polarized filter on it, but no color filters. This is what the film saw.

Here's one shot in harsher light that highlights how much trouble I have with this film in less than ideal light. Please excuse the composure, I didn't want to take the time to crop and straighten a shot I'm not going to do anything with.
